The MEN suggest United are prepared to sell McTominay to bolster their transfer kitty, and the arrival of Mason Mount could hasten his departure.
It’s said that McTominay has a far greater selling power than either Donny van de Beek and Fred, who’ve generated very little interest from elsewhere.
However, any potential suitors will have to fork out upwards of £40million for the Scotland international, whose contract runs until June 2025 with the option of a further 12 months.
Newcastle are favorites at 2/1, ahead of London rivals West Ham at 3/1.

The Hammers are a healthy amount to spend following the departure of Declan Rice to Arsenal for a colossal £105m, and desperately need to replace the England star.
Roma are also available at 3/1 with Jose Mourinho well aware of McTominay’s abilities.
There’s a big jump to Everton at 9/1, although their financial muscle doesn’t appear to be strong with FFP restrictions still lingering.
Celtic are offered at 12/1, ahead of Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Fulham, who are all locked together at 25/1 to clinch his signature before the transfer window closes in September.
